Hellfire Freerange Irish Pigs

Freerange Rarebreed and Rarebreed cross Pigs

Why 'Hellfire' pigs?

Well, these pigs have a very exclusive residence at the foot of Montpelier Hill in South Dublin. Perched on the top of Montpelier Hill is an old hunting lodge, built by William Connolly, Speaker of the Irish House of Commons about 1725. The lodge is known around Dublin as the 'Hellfire Club' due to the belief the the 'actual' Hellfire Club met in the building on occasion.

'Hellfire' is registered with the British Pig Association as the name of the herd.

  • "We had some pork loin at the weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. The meat was dark and bursting with flavour. The skin and fat we grilled separately; it crisped up beatiful..."
