Hi Stephen, the way I sell pork right now is by the quarter, half or whole pig. I probably wont be slaughtering more pigs for about another 3-4 weeks. However, I brought some pigs to slaughter on wednesday and may have some spare this coming tuesday or wednesday. I'll give you a shout if I have any barbeque suitable stuff left over and maybe that might suit you as the pork freezes very well if you are not going to use is right away. FYI, generally I dont kill pigs until I have customers for the pork and it is always at least 2 pigs as I dont send pigs to slaughter individually.

Hi -

Looking to have a BBQ (but not sure on numbers yet). Can I call ahead to order a series of cuts and collect them.
Can I order and collect in the same week?

Thanks,

Stephen.

Breffni,

thank you for delivering the four weanlings today. They went straight for a snooze in the straw and came out later on. All well tonight. I hope you travelled home safely.

Hi Mike, thanks. I usually take pigs to about 6 months old but I have taken them to 9 months, so I would say anytime over the next couple of months would be fine for pork, maybe a bit longer if you are going to make bacon.

Love what you guys are doing. What a great idea 'Own a Pig'
I am going to tell a friend about this and maybe we will be intouch.
How often do you have litters, do sows come on heat once or multiple times per year ?

Danny
